ADATA announced on the 26th that its CEO, Lee Dong-hyuk, recently received the Minister’s Commendation from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) at the 2023 Rechallenge Day event hosted by MSS and the Korea Startup Promotion Agency.

Held under the theme "Yesterday’s Failure, Today’s Challenge, Tomorrow’s Success," the event aimed to support businesses that successfully overcame past failures and those striving for a second chance.

According to ADATA, the MSS Minister’s Commendation is awarded to individuals who have contributed to the revitalization of business relaunch initiatives, including startup support and infrastructure development.

CEO Lee Dong-hyuk was recognized for his efforts in business expansion, job creation and employee welfare, as well as technological and process innovation.

ADATA stated, "Despite being founded less than three years ago, our rapid business expansion and innovation in technology and management were made possible through valuable experiences and refined expertise gained from past challenges."

CEO Lee reflected on his journey, saying, "I once considered my past challenges as failures, but looking back, I realize they were steps toward greater growth. Whether for businesses or individuals, embracing challenges is essential for progress."

He further added, "Through our second challenge, we strengthened our customer network and are now expanding into advanced industries utilizing big data." He also emphasized ADATA’s ongoing expansion into overseas markets, including Japan and Southeast Asia.
