Data integration specialist ADATA Inc. (CEO Lee Dong-hyuk) announced on the 12th that it has recently obtained two patents related to the core technology of its big data collection and integration solution “SCV” (Smart Collection Vehicle) for automatic API data collection and loading.
The two patents are titled “Data Collection Device and Method for Automating Data Integration” and “Data Loading Profiling Device and Method for Automatic Processing of Collected Data.”
A company representative said, “As the volume of data used for analysis steadily increases, external data collection via APIs and the data preprocessing required for data utilization are becoming increasingly time-consuming and costly. Consequently, technologies that address these issues are gaining attention.”
ADATA’s newly acquired patents enable its data collection module to execute simultaneously, automatically collecting and integrating API data, while also handling the loading of collected data automatically. This technology ensures fast data processing and data persistence, allowing for the convenient and effective acquisition of high-quality data. The company expects that this solution will overcome the limitations of repetitive manual tasks in data operations and significantly reduce both time and cost.
The company also noted that its intuitive UI/UX and no-code approach allow users without IT programming expertise to perform data collection tasks with ease.
CEO Lee Dong-hyuk stated, “The acquisition of patents for automatic data collection and the automatic loading of collected data—the core technologies of SCV—is a recognition of the value of our integrated internal and external data solutions for big data utilization. Our goal is to streamline the repetitive tasks in the data preparation process and enhance data usability through technological innovation.”
Meanwhile, SCV is based on ADATA’s technology for automating API integration, enabling the simultaneous collection of required data through various open APIs. Its performance has been validated on public sector sites, achieving over 70% cost savings compared to traditional labor costs and improved operational efficiency.
